The first Naturstromspeicher is under construction in Gaildorf. Running through the town is the river Kocher, and to the east is the upland area of the Limpurger Berge, where the wind turbines are being erected. The prevailing wind speeds up there are moderate. With a rotor diameter of 132 metres, the wind turbines are among the largest in their class
7,15M GRANT FROM BMUB
The project is funded with a €7,15m grant from the Environmental Innovation Programme of the German Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety.
